Ethan had his Kindergarten Singing Program on April 21 and true to the past, he pretty much stood there while everyone else sang. In the last few years during Preschool Ethan never sang or did the motions during his programs. We hear that he does it all during rehearsals in class but I guess he gets stage fright in front of all the parents.
Last fall during the Dinner/Dance fundraiser, I bought a reserved front row so that we could be as close as possible to see the show. We were front and center while some of the other kindergarten families that we hang out with joined us in the front row. I hoped that when Ethan saw us in the front row, it might inspire him to participate more but that didn't happen.
Ethan was on the second row from the back but had to move to the back row because he is so tall (that is why he is in different rows in these photos).
As you can see, every other kid is in mid-singing while Ethan just stands there. I wish he participated and enjoyed himself more but the show was still good. Check out other photos below.
Could he be less excited to be there?
